Joseph Arujo (he/him) is a Latinx mental-health activist and content creator from Los Angeles, CA. Currently a student at the University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business, Joseph is determined to merge his interests in Business Administration and Media Studies to pave the way for a purpose-driven career that drives positive change in his community.


As a TikTok Diversity Collective Consultant, Joseph has successfully advised companies such as TikTok on diversity, equity, and inclusion, championing developments such as “Pronouns on profiles” and crediting creator tools. His unwavering commitment to creating a community built on positivity and kindness has earned him over 850,000 followers online.


Joseph is notable for hosting a live series narrating stories to his audience. He would attain 50,000-100,000 nightly viewers, and over 1 million monthly live impressions.


Joseph’s has been widely recognized, with media outlets such as Washington Post, Business Insider, Vice, and Sweety High featuring his work. His passion and dedication to creating a kinder and braver world has earned him a spot on the Born This Way Foundation’s Advisory Board, where he upholds the foundation's principles.

Joseph has been building brands since he was 17 years old, helping creators and businesses establish themselves in the ever-changing creator economy.
